Tractor, Truck & Implement Enamel Application Tips

When you want to apply a new coat of enamel paint to a tractor, truck or any other similar vehicle, it is important to understand the process of how to apply the material without leaving behind unsightly streaks or ugly lines. Fortunately, our new Tractor, Truck & Implement Enamel formula at Majic Paints is easy to apply with smooth and beautiful results.

Prepare the Tractor or Truck

Before applying the Tractor, Truck & Implement Enamel, prepare the surface of the item. Never paint without cleaning the tractor or truck thoroughly. Remove any rust with a sander and use paint thinner to remove grease or oil.

After cleaning and removing any rust, we suggest that you apply a rust-inhibiting primer before you start painting.

Stir the Paint

Never apply the Tractor, Truck & Implement Enamel paint from Majic Paints without stirring it thoroughly. Stirring the paint will allow it to adhere to the surface of the tractor, truck or implement without leaving behind streaks or showing thin spots.

Apply with a Roller, Brush or Sprayer

Use a paint roller, paint pad, a high-quality paint brush or a sprayer to apply the enamel to the surface of the truck or tractor. Never use a low-quality applicator, since that can leave behind unsightly lines in the paint.

Apply the enamel in a thin layer using long, consistent strokes. It is not necessary to use a thick layer of enamel paint because our formula uses resin to create a durable coat. Never thin the paint with water. It is already prepared and ready to use. If you need to thin the paint for application with a sprayer, use our Majic Reducer. It is formulated to keep the VOC limit down while providing the perfect spray consistency.

Allow the enamel to dry for 24 hours and then apply a second layer of enamel if it is necessary. Give it 24 hours to dry completely before using the vehicle.

It is not difficult to get amazing results when you apply our new enamel formula to any equipment. You just need to prepare the surface properly and paint it on in a thin layer to get smooth and beautiful results.
